Fishing is right on your doorstep - situated between two major rivers with boat ramps or head down and fish from the beach.  Just down the road, The Mossman Golf Club provides 18 holes of affordable golf for visitors and locals in a friendly, tropical environment.  A little further on is Scomazzon's Fruit Farm. They supply fresh, organic, exotic fruit - try the homemade black sapote ice-cream!

Grab the rods, and head straight to the beach for some fishing.  Take a walk down to the jetty and throw in a line.  Catch a mud crab up the creek in the mangroves, spot a crocodile.  Hook a Barramundi from the mouth of the river
Mossman Mossman is a friendly little township nestled at the foot of the mountains among green fields of sugar cane.  Boasting a genuine country atmosphere with historic pubs, cafes, chilled out Saturday morning markets under the raintrees at the top end of town. Five minutes west of Mossman you will discover Mossman Gorge, a very accessible and scenic section of the World Heritage listed Daintree National Park. Here you will find cool, clear freshwater swimming holes, and a 2.7 km rainforest loop trail to explore.  The Gorge is home to the Kuku Yalanji people, the area’s traditional Aboriginal landowners.  Guided bushwalks are available that give a rare insight into the special relationship the local indigenous people have with the rainforest.  Visit the Mossman Central Mill at its peak during the sugar cane season where guided tours are conducted and learn about the entire process inside the mill.
Port Douglas Wine and dine at a great selection of restaurants and cafes along the main street.  Stroll around the Sunday Markets to find a combination of local art, craft and souvenirs and home grown exotic fruit, veggies, fresh seafood and flowers.  Depart for your outer reef underwater experience - dive, snorkle, swim!   Go fishing, or just relax on Four Mile Beach.
